These are some of our frequently asked questions but if you can’t find the answer you need here, please get in touch!

Booking online is the easiest way. You’ll get automated reminder messages and we’ll can send consultation forms to you before your appointment.

No, most treatments require a patch test at least 48hrs before so pre-booking is required.

Yes, but when we are with clients you will need to leave a message on the answerphone. We will call you back but are often able to respond quicker to an email in between clients.

Don’t worry, during your consultation we will talk through your skin concerns and recommend the right treatment path for you.

If you’re happy to come barefaced, then yes that is helpful. But otherwise it’s no problem for us to remove it for you at the start of the treatment.

Yes. It is really helpful to be able to see the hair in its natural state so we can get a better idea of the hair type, thickness and colour which will give a better treatment outcome.

Yes, with electrolysis.

Yes, but you will need to use a good quality SPF 30+ and avoid tanning the treatment area. If you have a sun holiday booked, we would avoid this time.

No, this will only prolong your treatment in the long run. Trim or shave the area only.

It is permanent reduction, you should get around a 70-90% permanent reduction in your hair growth. Electrolysis is the only method of permanent removal as we are working on one hair at a time.

There is a sensation which a lot of people describe it as a ‘flick of an elastic band’. It shouldn’t be painful. But honestly, everyone is different and each area may feel different. You will always receive a patch test on the area you are having treated so this will give you a good idea of what to expect and how it feels.

Everyone is different, but we suggest normally around 6-8 treatments.

It does depend on the area and on your hair growth, but as a general rule, 4-6 weeks on the face and 6-8 weeks for the body.

If you are having a standard bikini line or a Brazilian, you can wear any knickers apart from ‘shorts’ as they are hard to move out of the way. We do have disposable pants if you prefer. For a Hollywood, we may ask you to remove your underwear completely, but we can use paper towels to cover you if you are uncomfortable with that.
